Ralph Gary Clem, of Cherryville, Missouri, formerly of Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in his daughter’s home at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 25 days.
He was born May 6, 1947 in England, AR to Sherman and Jeanette Russell Clem. Ralph served his country honorably in the US Army.
On May 19, 1965, he was united in marriage to Shirley Louise Higgins and to this union one son and three daughters were born.
Ralph was a builder and a contractor for many years. He built houses and owned a cabinet shop. He loved to sing and worship, enjoy gardening and always looked forward to traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Clem; daughter, Barbra Clem; brother, David Clem; and sister, Glenda Green.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Gary Clem of Cherryville, MO; two daughters, Marcell (John) Ritch of Cherryville, MO and Janelle Clem of AR; one brother, Sherman Clem, Jr. of AR; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Ralph chose cremation as his final disposition.
There will be an inurnment in Arkansas at a later date.
