Ricky Lee Ogle

Ricky Lee Ogle of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Cherryville, MO, passed away February 1, 2020. Ricky was born June 5, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert Wayne Ogle and Ruth Olive Howdeshell.

Ricky graduated from Cherryville High School. He was very athletic and involved in several sports during that time. He was employed in the tool and dye trade for many years. Ricky had a third degree Black Belt and was state champion at one time. For a few years, he had a studio teaching children Karate for free.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Ruth Ogle; one sister, Donna Ogle. His brother-in-law, Jim Jones, passed away a few days later.

He is survived by his two sons, Guy Ogle of St. Louis, MO and Wade Ogle of Pacific, MO; three brothers, Dennis (Debbie) Ogle of IL, Robert Ogle of St. Louis, MO and Randy (Kelly) Ogle of Steelville, MO; four sisters, Rhonda (Greg) Hill of Enid, OK, Linda (Dennis) Lea of Steelville, MO, Marie (Rick) Roper of OK and Leona Jones of Steelville, MO; one grandson, Declyn Ogle of Pacific, MO; other relatives; and friends.

The Family received friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Rivers of Life Church in Steelville, MO.

A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Rivers of Life Church in Steelville, MO with Rev. John Brice officiating. Special music of "Angel", "Old Rugged Cross" and "Just As I Am" was played.

The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
