Shirley Ann Stulce, nee Reuter, of Davisville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 in St. Louis at the age of 88 years and 29 days. She was born September 6, 1936 in St. Louis to Herbert and Winifred Reuter. She grew up in St. Louis living there until she met the love of her life, Robert Stulce, Sr. They were married on July 11, 1952 in St. Louis and eventually moved to the country where she and her husband raised one son and six daughters.
Shirley loved quilting and made quilts for all of her children. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions in the area. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed their visits.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Winifred Reuter; husband, Robert Stulce, Sr.; son, Robert Stulce, Jr.; four of her daughters, Elizabeth Tapia, Rosemary Otto, Sandra Walls and Janet Brock; three brothers, Herbert Reuter, Jr., Eugene Reuter and James Reuter; two sisters, Audrey Fellure and Eva Fulco.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Virginia (John) Saens of Pinecrest, CA and Loretta Crocker of Viburnum, MO; two adopted grandchildren, Raylene DeClue of Sullivan, MO and Gus Stulce of Davisville, MO; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
The Family received friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
A Memorial service was held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 12, 2024 with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of "Old Rugged Cross" and "Precious Memories" was played.
Committal prayer and inurnment were in the Wesco Cemetery, Wesco, Missouri
