Tony Brown Obituary

Tony Wade Brown of Steelville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at his home at the age of 51 years, 8 months and 28 days. He was born October 10, 1968 in Sullivan, Missouri to Billie “Joe” Brown and Anita Callahan-Bridgeman.

Tony attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church and was always faithful to help take up the offering. He would post sometimes up to five different biblical scriptures each day on Facebook to share and would call it “Today’s Promise.” Tony loved to shop for clothing, ties and any other items that caught his eye. He enjoyed planting flowers, loved to listen to his many chimes that he collected outdoors and all of his collection of Cardinal birds. His most favorite time of the year was Christmas along with the 4th of July. He loved to watch his nieces and nephews open up their presents and enjoyed having his room decorated all year round with a Christmas tree full of his ornament collection and other decorations.

He loved attending church and dearly loved all the people who were there and they loved him back. Tony was a quiet man and had so much love to give.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Delpha Brown and Alva and Landis Callahan; and step-father, Donald A. Nickelson.

He will be sadly missed by his father, Joe Brown of Steelville, MO; his mother, Anita Bridgeman of Steelville, MO; one brother, Kevin (Margaret) Brown of Steelville, MO; two sisters, Tonia Deslongchamps of O’Fallon, MO and Christy (Robert) Norris of Steelville, MO; nieces and nephews, Clarissa (Stanley) Green, Aspen Deslongchamps, Tim Brown and Kadin Norris; great-nieces and great-nephews, Gracelyn Green, Ethan Brown, Nathan Green and Emmett Brown; many aunts and uncles; other relatives; and friends.
