Wanda May Ransom of Cuba, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 65 years and 14 days. She was born August 13, 1957 in Steelville, Missouri to George and Mildred Mounce James.
Wanda was employed at Subway for several years in Sullivan until she was promoted to manager at the Steelville location.
She mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Wanda enjoyed playing the lottery, Keno and going to the river.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred James; one brother, Jesse Lee Pogue and one sister, Mildred Anna Brandon.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Cynthia (Walter) Bare of Bourbon, MO, Dana Ransom of Cedar Hill, MO and Beverly Ransom of Cuba, MO; one sister, Shelly (Douglas) Gregorich of Cuba, MO; thirteen grandchildren including grandson, Dylan Beal, who lived with her; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other relatives; and friends.
The Family chose cremation as the final disposition.
At this time there will be no service.
