Zena N. Cooper Warren was born October 4, 1958 and passed away to the arms of angels on March 5, 2024.
I was married to Rick Warren on May 16 , 1989. Thank you for putting up with me for so long through all the ups and downs.
My parents that God chose for me were Harold D. Cooper and Anna Marie Pyatt Cooper; grandparents were Alfred Cooper and Eva Louella Roseberry Cooper and Otto Pyatt and Martha Jane Harris Pyatt. My siblings were Dennis, Joyce, Evelyn and Ron. My most precious gifts in life were Danielle Floyd, Andrea Sullins and Jacquelyn McEuen. I had 7 beautiful grandchildren, Alexis, Jordan, Zackary, Morgan, Cooper, Gracie and Grady Bear, whom I love to the moon and back. I had the privilege to tell each one of them when they were born that Jesus loves them.
I went to Lewis and Clark College and St. Louis University and served many people as a med tech and always stayed with them and their family until Jesus took the ones who were ill home. I also worked at the license bureau in Steelville for several years and enjoyed it.
It was an honor to do our family genealogy and host the family reunions for years. My favorite Bible verses were taught to me by my cousin, Bill Anderson, whom I dearly loved, Jeramiah 29:11. Thank you my dear Bill.
I also want to thank my best friend Carol Ann Issacs of 53 years for seeing me through all this with her loving-giving heart, I’ll see you on the other side, Dear.
To all my precious cousins whom I loved forever and for loving me. Ya’ll blessed my heart and made me feel special along with all my friends. When you see the beautiful sunsets and glowing moon think of me. Remember I love you all and expect to be reunited with all of you in heaven-all of you. I love you all, Zena
