Billy Joe Trent of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 in St. Louis at the age of 79 years and 26 days. He was born October 1, 1938 in Doniphan, Missouri to Andrew Clive Trent and Ada Trent. On August 11, 1979, he was united in marriage to Wanda Jean Tidwell.
Billy was of the Protestant faith. He was employed for many years as a auto body mechanic. He was very gifted in painting automobiles, motorcycles and hot rods and also enjoyed welding sculptures.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Kuntz; and son-in-law, David Fine.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Wanda Jean Trent; five sons, Michael "Pete" Trent, Tim Trent and wife Chung, Bob Trent and wife Ann, Jerry Kuntz and wife Angelia and Steve Kuntz and wife Sue; three daughters, Patricia Robin Stratos and husband Harry, Tamara Tustin and husband Al and Kimberly Fine; grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Stygar Funeral Home at Mid Rivers Drive in St. Charles, MO.
Funeral services were held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Stygar Funeral Home in St. Charles, MO with Vito Salamone officiating. Special music of "Amazing Grace" was sung by Kaylee Willman and "Three Times a Lady", "Goodbye" and "What a Day it will Be" was played.
Inurnment will be in the Martin-Trask Cemetery.
