Dear Family, So sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was a first grade student of mine at Cherryville Grade School. In addition to being my student, she was also a distant cousin (third cousin, I think). Tom Evans was my great uncle and her great grandfather. I remember she was a sweet, little girl who I so enjoyed being in the class. I can see the face of that precious, little girl in the adult Laura picture. May the Holy Spirit be the Comforter during these days and weeks of grief.

Sterling and family,
We were so sorry to hear about Laura's passing. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies. Sterling stay strong and it would be nice to stay in touch. A fellow friend of ours was nice enough to let me know of your loss. We apologize for not being able to make it to her services but Laura, you and family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
