William "Bill" Leo Turnbough, Jr., 54 of Bridgeton, MO, formerly of Cedar Hill, MO passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born August 8, 1954 in St. Louis, MO to William "Bill" L. and Kaye Eileen (Lindsey) Turnbough.
Bill was a member of the Local Laborer's Union #42 in St. Louis.
As a young man, Bill had committed his life to Christ.
He was an avid fan of the St. Cardinals Baseball Team.
Bill is survived by his companion, Leisha Boardly of Bridgeton, Mo; one son, Bill Turnbough, III of Cedar Hill, MO; one daughter, Katherine Turnbough of Cedar Hill, MO; parents, Bill and Kaye Turnbough of Steelville, MO; two brothers, Don and John Turnbough of Steelville, MO; two sisters, Susan Bogert and husband Charles of Cedar Hill, MO and Sandy Carrow and companion, Mike Orr of Cherryville, MO; one grandson, Liam Turnbough; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.
A Graveside Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Cherryville First Baptist Church Cemetery in Cherryville, MO with Rev. Harry White officiating.
The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
